Chemical dominoes
Purpose- Create 3 chemical reactions all connected
We had a plan to create a rube goldberg system with chemical reactions that we learned in class. We figured that from our past expirement that went well, we would use in it. We decided on a baking soda + vinegar, magnesium ribbon + fire, and the led and foil reaction.
Baking soda and vinegar equation-
NaHCO3(s) + CH3COOH(l) => CO2(g) + H2O(l) + Na+(aq) + CH3COO-(aq)
Magnesium ribbon and fire-
2Mg(s) + O2 => 2Mg0(s) + Energy
Led light and foil reaction-
2Al(s) + 3CuCl2(aq) => 3Cu(s) + 2AlCl3(aq)
Baking soda and vinegar equation-
NaHCO3(s) + CH3COOH(l) => CO2(g) + H2O(l) + Na+(aq) + CH3COO-(aq)
Magnesium ribbon and fire-
2Mg(s) + O2 => 2Mg0(s) + Energy
Led light and foil reaction-
2Al(s) + 3CuCl2(aq) => 3Cu(s) + 2AlCl3(aq)

Here is a drawn out diagram of our chemical dominoes.
Summary-
Throughout this project we all tried to really work together efficiently and have everyone included in almost aspects of the project to really create the feeling that everyone had the opinion inputed.
