1.Red plant
2.Green plant
3.Red tinted plastic
4.Black paper

Procedure-
Day 1- covered leaves with black paper and colored cellophane. Red and green leaves with green cellophane.
Day 2-Removed leaves, removed chlorophyll by heating leaves in hot ethanol, rinsed, tested for starch using iodine. For the colored plant separated red from green leaves and tested separately.

Data Results:
Data Analysis:
In our results we concluded that the uncovered leaf had the most photosynthesis because when we tested with iodine, the normal leaf was the darkest. We believe we had an error with one of our leaves that didn't full submerge in the boiling water to extract its chlorophyll. We can also show that the black paper successful reduced the amount of photosynthesis due to the cut of off light caused by the paper. Next the colored foil and the red leaf were given a score of three, although there was more starch then the leaf covered with black paper, these leaves still didn't have as much photosynthesis as the normal leaf or green leaf.
Reflection
My group and I worked pretty well together and we did complete the lab so I think we very successful. A strength we had was that stayed on track for almost all the project. A weakness we had was how long it took my group to complete the project, we were slow. Another strength we had was trying to stay positive during all of struggles. Another thing we should have done better was going more in depth throughout the whole lab.
